You know the situation. A bunch of restaurants together in a neighborhood or city. What makes one better than the other?

Sure, all (or some) may be run pretty much the same. But what makes one have a line out the door and one with a ½ empty dining room during peak hours?

It’s all about having some feature – service or product – that stands out and makes guests want to come back – and doing it consistently.

We all know places we “must” visit when we travel to familiar places or even new places (from travel blogs or articles).

Before you sink a lot of money into a catchy webpage or marketing campaign, be sure you’ve got the essential elements and that you are different in a very positive sense.
